I liked today’s podcast. It reminded me I need to remember bookstagram. I often forget all about it. And I actually thought The Girls novel was worth the read … the coming of age aspects and the atmosphere of the time and what was going on seemed well done …. and she does get dragged in for a while to the cult & it’s freaky what happens. Anyways, it was nice to hear from Tina about her picks.

  3. This was a fun listen! I appreciated the discussion on The Girls. I haven’t picked that up yet but was considering it on audio–it sounds like audio wouldn’t be the right choice for it, though.

The Humans is also intriguing. I haven’t heard of it before, but I may have to check it out.

Thanks! Yeah – I don’t think The Girls would be good on audio…too quiet a book. And one of the best parts for me was the writing, which never translates well to audio for me.
