We Are Not Ourselves‘s premise and the fact that it’s a debut (I’ve had unusually good luck with debuts this year!) caught my eye on NetGalley and Chad Harbach’s (author of The Art of Fielding) comment that it was “powerfully moving” sealed the deal.

What book are you waiting for?
This was a HUGE book at BEA this year and I’m very excited to get reading it. Several people mentioned that it was the best book they read so far this year, so it has a pretty ringing endorsement.
