I had said last month that compiling this round-up made me realize how little I had read in March and I vowed to do better in April. Turns out I read about the same number of books in April, which does not qualify as “doing better”! Grrr…
The good news is that I’m on a streak of liking the past few books I’ve read (some reviewed in April and some that will be reviewed in May)! On to the round-up…

Stay tuned for my Annual Summer Reading List (click here to see last year’s list) in mid May…
You had a great April Sarah. Hope May is as good
It looks like a great list to me. Do you have a number in mind as your ideal month? I think 14 sounds pretty good, but I work, volunteer, and run a household.
14 is a great number – I don’t think I could hit that! I probably read about 7 books per month (usually posting 5 full length reviews – my mini reviews are of books I read and loved long before I started this blog) and I don’t think that’s going to change in the near future given my time constraints (I’m a stay at home mom to 2 young children…not in school much yet)…unless I start forgoing some sleep, which I’m not going to do. I think the only way to increase my total would be to start audio books, which I don’t do as a of now. I run a lot, so could listen then. I’m trying to decide whether audios would be fun or just annoy me…I’m not an auditory person, much more visual. Thanks for stopping by – and thanks for your question…you made me do some thinking!
My April reading was slow as well…well, slow for me anyway, lol. But I’ve slowed down a LOT this year. Quality over quantity though right? That’s the important thing 😀
Here’s to a great May!
I agree – and I was definitely happy with my April quality!
Thanks for stopping by!
I received Frog Music recently and I’m excited to read it!
Hopefully the summer will bring you more time to read!
