Regardless, there are lots of promising new books for summer. Check out my 2014 Summer Reading List and my list of new releases that I’m excited about. On to the round-up…

You’re not the first person to suggest Bittersweet. I would never have picked it up based on the cover so I’m glad to know it’s good.
I’m so mad at myself for declining to review Bittersweet! I’ve read positive things about it. I bought The Storied Life of A. J. Fikry, and began the first few pages. Now my Japanese literature challenge is taking precedence, but I want to get back to it this summer.
You should still lead Bittersweet…great summer book! I’ve been meaning to read A.J. Fikry for so long now and then got distracted by summer books…I need to get on it!
Summer House with Swimming Pool gets my vote. This is not a book you can ‘enjoy’ but it is one that will make you think.
